About ###### Glen Canavan I am a retired paramedic, having worked in Montreal, the Northwest Territories and Ontario. My Land Rover experience started when I was 22. In the summer of 1974, I bought a brand-new Series Ill from a British Leyland dealership in Montreal. Shortly after that my brother and I drove up the then unpaved Alaska Highway. That was a long bumpy ride in a short wheelbase vehicle.
