About Bodie Stroud
Johnny Depp's 51 MercuryThe car was broad and needed major TLC after sitting in storage for several years, according to Bodie Stroud. The floorboard needed to be replaced. The car received a new Ride Tech air-ride suspension and shocks, as well as a Ford Crate motor, a 5-liter that was capable of pumping out 300 horsepower. The C6 automatic transmission provided the torque to the wheels. The transmission had clutch plates instead of bands on the low and reverse gears.
